Summary
When designing a chilled water production plant for air conditioning, the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) engineer has several options. This article is aimed at demonstrating how a suitable simulation tool can help the HVAC engineer compare energy performances of various types of high-capacity refrigerating chillers, and showing the problems encountered by the user of simulation tools.
