Using CO2 heat pumps in the heating systems of existing residential buildings: a promising prototype?
CO2-Wärmepumpe für Heizungssysteme in bestehenden Wohngebäuden: ein vielversprechender Prototyp?
Author(s) : HOPPE U.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This article presents the results of a study carried out on an air-to-water heat pump to be used in a residential building. The heat pump's capacity ranges from 11 to 18.9 kW, for outdoor air temperatures ranging from -7 to 7 °C respectively, with the COP varying from 1.7 to 2.62. The aim is to obtain high water temperatures, from 52 to 76°C depending on the outdoor temperature.
