Summary
Biological contaminants live, grow and circulate within air-conditioning ducting. At shut-down times air currents may be reversed, transferring particles back along the system. Mechanical cleaning is expensive and disruptive, often disturbing more dust than it removes. A new design of ultraviolet lamp has a wide spectral range and high intensity of output. A.R.T.
