WATER-WATER REVERSE-CYCLE AIR CONDITIONING PLANT CAN SHOW AN IMPROVEMENT IN COP IF ASSISTED BY AN APPROPRIATE UNDERGROUND WATER SYSTEM, USED AS A SEASONAL THERMAL STORE. FOR EVALUATING THIS SYSTEM, IT IS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT A PRELIMINARY THERMODYNAMIC STUDY TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THE GENERATOR AND UNDERGROUND WATER. THIS STUDY PRESENTS A PROCEDURE FOR SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION, DESCRIBING ITS DEVELOPMENT AND USE.
