Summary

THIS PROJECT RELATES TO PRELIMINARY PLANNING OF A 8 MW LAKE WATER HEAT PUMP WITH SEASONAL HEAT STORAGE IN GROUND WATER. THE HEAT PUMP IS ENVISAGED TO COMPRISE THE BASIC PRODUCTION FACILITY FOR A DISTRICT HEATING NETWORK. THE FACILITY COMPRISES A SEASONAL HEAT STORE IN THE AQUIFER OF THE RIVER BADELUNDA WITH A TOTAL VOLUME OF AROUND 3 MEGA CUBIC METERS. THE STORE IS CHARGED DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS BY MEANS OF HEAT FROM THE DALALVEN RIVER BY HEAT EXCHANGERS. HEAT IS SUPPLIED TO AND EXTRACTED FROM THE STORE BY MEANS OF A TOTAL OF 14 WELLS WITH CAPACITIES OF UP TO AROUND 75 L/SEC EACH.
