VALUES OF CRITICAL ENERGY FOR SUPERCONDUCTING COMPOSITES.

Author(s) : JAYAKUMAR R.

Type of article: Article

Summary

VALUES OF CRITICAL ENERGY OF SUPERCONDUCTING COMPOSITES ARE CALCULATED BY A ONE-DIMENSIONAL APPROXIMATION FOR VARIOUS STABILITY PARAMETERS, NORMALIZED CRITICAL TEMPERATURES AND NORMALIZED TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT THERMAL CONDUCTIVITIES OF THE MATRIX MATERIAL. THE CRITICAL ENERGY IS CALCULATED BY FINDING A TEMPERATURE PROFILE THAT GIVES THE MINIMUM QUENCH ENERGY. THE RESULTS ARE PRESENTED IN TABULAR FORM FOR EASE OF USE.
