IN THIS CASE STUDY, THE APPLICATION OF ADJUSTABLE-FREQUENCY INVERTERS TO DRIVE THE VARIOUS FAN AND PUMP MOTORS FOR THE VARIABLE-AIR-VOLUME (VAV) SYSTEM IN A HIGH-RISE OFFICE BUILDING IN HOT, HUMID CLIMATES IS DESCRIBED.
