Summary

The proper solution of an underground train system ventilation is a complicated problem, because of a great system expanse and aerodynamic effects of the train’s movement. In the paper the tasks of underground ventilation and solutions for different areas are presented. Significant attention is paid to fire ventilation which has to give the people a chance to evacuate from the underground.
