IN THE THERMAL CALCULATION OF HIGH SPEED REFRIGERATING HERMETIC PISTON COMPRESSORS, THERE EXISTS A DEVIATION OF CALCULATED VALUES TO THAT OF THOSE TESTED UNDER VARIOUS PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS. THIS PAPER ANALYSES THE CAUSE OF DEVIATION AND PROPOSES APPROXIMATE CORRECTIONS TO THE CALCULATED VALUE.
