Type of article: Article
Summary
A variation of visualization techniques such as Shadowgraph, Schlieren and holographic interferometry, has been so far applied to visualize thermo-fluid phenomena in cryogenic fluids, superfluid helium (He II) and supercritical nitrogen, by some researchers. This paper is a review of these visualization techniques used in cryogenic fluids as well as an introduction of visualization techniques. [Reprinted with permission from Elsevier. Copyright, 2008].
