Summary
The necessity of air conditioning in workplaces is shown. Data on the development and research of conditioners of a vortical type are presented. The results obtained have allowed application of vortical pipes as the basic refrigerating unit to the air conditioner. Additional cooling and humidifying of the air can be carried out by means of a vortical spray of a liquid for which work is provided thanks to energy of the hot stream leaving a vortical pipe. During the evaporation of particles of a liquid, there is a cooling and humidifying of the air. The combination of the cooled air exiting from a vortical pipe, to humidified and cooled air from a vortical spray of a liquid allows adjustment of the temperature and humidity of the air in air-conditioned premises.
