What is required for the commercialization of metal hydride refrigerators and heat pumps.
Author(s) : SUDA S.
Summary
Metal hydride devices such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and steam regenerators have been developing for more than 15 years since principles of thermal energy conversion were demonstrated. The paper describes the scientific and technical problems to be solved for realizing metal hydride applications as thermal conversion devices in commercial scales.
