This document is the 3rd version of the White Paper and is a follow-up to the Symposium on "Challenges and Perspectives in Heating Applications for Science, Industry and the Environment" of January 12, 2005. It contains an overview of the perspectives and work in a field increasingly criticised for the planetary energy stakes involved. One of the major challenges the production, distribution, conservation and use of energy.
