Summary

THIS PAPER PRESENTS DIAGRAMS ENABLING ONE TO DETERMINE, FOR EACH MONTH, THE PERIODS DURING THE DAY WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE TO WORK, EITHER UNDER CONDITIONS OF THERMOHYGROMETRIC COMFORT OR UNDER CONDITIONS OF DISCOMFORT. THE WORK WAS UNDERTAKEN IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE, PROTECTED AGAINST DIRECT SOLAR RADIATION, IN PREMISES MORE OR LESS VENTILATED AND FITTED WITH WALLS MORE OR LESS INERT. THE DIAGRAMS MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO EVALUATE THE MOST FAVOURABLE PERIODS FOR A GIVEN TYPE OF WORK AND, EVENTUALLY, TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR AN AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLATION.
