The latest OzonAction bulletin explores the impacts of the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment on the ozone layer, climate, and public health.

Published in October 2024, this 8^th issue highlights the progress made by the Montreal Protocol in protecting the ozone layer and reducing the risks associated with UV radiation.

The bulletin also examines the Kigali Amendment, adopted in 2016, which aims to phase down greenhouse gases such as HFCs. This amendment is a key step in limiting global warming, with projections of a 0.3 to 0.5°C reduction by 2100.
