Air conditioning in Russian stadium for Fifa World Cup 2018

The Chinese manufacturer Midea has won the bid to provide central air conditioning systems for seven stadiums in Russia.
The Chinese manufacturer Midea recently won contract to provide MAi full inverter central air-conditioning systems for 12 Russian stadiums. Midea will provide a range of falling film water-cooled screw chillers, MAi full inverter intelligent VRF systems and fan coil units to the Luzhniki Stadium (Moscow) and the stadiums in Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Samara and Saint Petersburg.

Midea's falling film water-cooled screw chiller and MAi full inverter intelligent VRF system are built upon full inverter technology and meet the level 1 requirement for international energy efficiency standards.

The system also has 24-hour status monitoring, remote diagnostics and automatic maintenance reports.
