ShareDiscover BETTED’s new e-learning platform
The e-learning platform developed by the BETTED Team is now available and ready for use. It is dedicated to interested professionals from both participating and non-participating countries, as well as those from other backgrounds.
The project BETTED – Boosting Energy Transition of the Dairy Value Chain focuses on promoting energy efficiency and the adoption of renewable energy sources within the dairy sector. Its goal is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and accelerate the energy transition throughout the entire dairy product value chain.
As part of this mission, a comprehensive training programme has been developed to support:
- Corporate policies towards energy efficiency, renewables, and heat pumps
- Energy culture (including motivations, behaviour change, mitigation of perceived risks and barriers)
- Sustainable supply-chain initiatives
The training content has been already developed and is intended for:
- Personnel from dairy industries
- Technology and equipment providers
- Service and maintenance companies
- Funding institutions
- Policymakers and public authorities involved in the industrial sector
The training materials, in the form of presentations and training handbooks, are available in different languages: English, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, and Greek.
The training program includes:
- Training sessions as interactive meetings for dairy sector industrial companies
- One-day workshops for energy managers, experts, non-energy experts, and financial institutions
- An e-learning platform for interested professionals from both participating and non-participating countries, as well as professionals from other backgrounds
The e-learning platform addresses 16 topics. Each topic consists of a presentation as the main material and of the Training Handbook summarising the key points. Click here for a detailed description of the topics.
Participants will receive a BETTED Certificate of Participation after completing all modules, the evaluation questionnaire, and the final questionnaire.
