THE AFCE ( “Alliance Froid Climatisation Environnement”, Air-Conditioning Refrigeration Environment Alliance) , in collaboration with the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, has published a popularisation document about the F-gas Regulation to the attention refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment operators and owners.
This document summarizes the main provisions of the F-gas Regulation in France in its new version.
The F-gas Regulation (Regulation (EU) No.51712014) has just been published and is applicable from January 1, 2015.
The regulation strengthens the existing mechanisms by adding a phase-down for the placing on the market of HFCs and bans on the placing on the market or the use of certain fluids.
