A new president and a meeting in Germany for this very active IIR Sub-Commission on test stations (Refrigerated transport).
Thomas Suquet, Head of the Cemafroid Testing Department, has been nominated President of IIR Sub-Commission CERTE (Certification Testing and quality of transport Equipment used for perishable products and other temperature-sensitive materials) of the D2 Refrigerated Transport Commission of the IIR. He replaces Eric Devin, who had served in the position since 2013.
CERTE held its annual meeting on April 18-19, 2018, at the TÜV SÜD headquarters in Munich, Germany. 18 papers from representatives of various ATP test stations were presented at the meeting. CERTE will set up official recommendations to be presented at the next UNECE WP11 session. The main functions of WP11 are to develop and update the ATP agreement on transport of perishable foodstuffs signed by 48 countries and to promote the facilitation of international transport of perishable foodstuffs by harmonising the regulations that apply to refrigerated transport.
