IIR website: a new course on inverse cooling cycles
A new course material has been added to the “Courses and training” section of the IIR website: “Inverse cycles – Refrigerating Equipment”:
This material was created by Renato Lazzarin, President of IIR Section E, as a support for a lecture on inverse cycles for refrigeration and the necessary equipment involved during his course on Applied Thermodynamic for engineers, that he conducts at the University of Padova (Italy), Section of Vicenza, Department of Management and Engineering.
This course, that contains 106 slides in English, aims to help better understand this important topic. It will also soon be available in Italian.
The following topics are addressed:
- Theory and practice of inverse cooling cycles.
- Components of the machines (compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerants).
- Some information on absorption cooling and air cycle cooling.
Other courses prepared by Renato Lazzarin will be published in the “Courses and training” section on the IIR website soon.
As a reminder, in this section, you will find digital course material (over 30 at the moment) on the main themes of refrigeration, as well as a section dedicated to certification courses in the fields of refrigeration and air-conditioning.
