New IIR Informatory Note (IN) on chillers and Russian version of the IN on nutrition

The IIR has just published a new Informatory Note on chillers as well as the Russian version of the IN on the Role of Refrigeration in Worldwide Nutrition already published in four other languages. 

New Informatory Note on chillers

 

The IIR has just issued a new Informatory Note on chillers, prepared by Xianting Li and Baolong Wang, respectively President and Secretary of IIR Commission E1 on air conditioning.  

 

This note presents the operating principles of chillers as well as the state of the art of chiller technologies with regard to refrigerants, evaporators, compressor and systems. It aims to raise awareness thof the fact that a high energy efficiency chiller is an essential piece of equipment for decreasing the energy consumption during space cooling in public buildings and provides for this purpose a set of recommendations. 

 

A summary for decision-makers, accessible to all, summarises the main conclusions of this Informatory Note.

Russian version of the Informatory Note on the Role of Refrigeration in Worldwide Nutrition

 

In addition, thanks to the cooperation of Nina Komarova, General Secretary of the Russian Association of Refrigeration, the March 2020 Informatory Note "The rôle of Refrigeration in Worldwide Nutrition" has been published in Russian and is available for download in open access. 

 

This Russian version complements the already published versions of this note in English, Chinese, Spanish and French.
