The cooling tower market within the EMEA zone

The cooling tower market has reached 232.67M€ this year which represents a slight increase compared to last year. After a slowdown between 2012 and 2013, the market settled in 2014.

The market leader in the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) zone is still Germany with 17% very closely followed by the Middle-East owning 15% of the market shares. The Italy/France/UK trio ranks third with market shares amounting to around 7%. For specific countries, growth is still not on the agenda but their situation has been improving this year. For example Germany and the UK which have registered a -4% decrease versus -15% last year. In France and in the Middle-East however the situation is deteriorating. The most sluggish situation is in France with a -25% drop while the Middle-East has been suffering a 7% reduction. Italy only has experienced a slight 1.4 % growth this year. Just like in 2013, most sold units are open-type cooling towers which represent two-thirds of the market.
