Résumé

Fruits of 11, 12 and 13 weeks of age were treated with experimental waxes and commercial ethylene scrubbers. Laboratory and shipping trials to Europe (Rotterdam) indicated that SF 965 wax at 25% gave good results, but only when pathogens on the fruits were fully controlled. As this is difficult to attain, the use of ethylene scrubbers with bagged fruits is recommended.
