After a brief introduction to terminology and search engines, the manual is divided into subject categories: i.e. contaminants, databases, drinks and food manufacturers, electronic journals, food and drinks market, packaging, research, safety and microbiology, genetically modified foods, legislation. Within each section there are descriptions of the contents of major sites relating to the subject followed by a select listing of other relevant sites with their accompanying URLs (over 1,250 URLs are referenced).
