A HEAT PUMP WITH A TWO-STAGE CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR WILL UPLIFT HEAT FROM INDUSTRIAL AND SEWAGE EFFLUENT TO PROVIDE A BASE LOAD FOR A TOWN DISTRICT HEATING SYSTEM. THIS SHOULD GIVE 45% OF THE ANNUAL HEAT REQUIREMENTS, AND WINTER LOADS WILL BE TOPPED UP BY CONVENTIONAL BOILERS. A.R.T.
