Summary
In this article, the authors simulated the thermal process on the surface of corrugated fins with the software FLUENT and gained some typical contour charts of the surface temperature of fin and heat transfer coefficient, vector charts of the surface air velocity of fin and the relevant calculated results after reasonable simplification of the physical model. They also analysed the effect of velocity of inlet on the surface temperature, air flow, heat transfer coefficient and the quantity of heat transfer.
