A graphical method of refrigerant characteristics calculation.
Summary
The paper discusses a prediction method, which provides data on thermophysical properties, flammability, GWP, ALT, and toxicity by varying the number of fluorine atoms in the hydrocarbon molecule. Forty-eight hydrofluorocarbons and three of their isomers were examined. The full analysis is presented in order to show the reliability of this new, simple, and inexpensive graphical method, which uses the molecular structure as well as the normal boiling point.
