A hybrid air-conditioning system with liquid desiccant.

Author(s) : YING C., ZHANG Y.

Summary

In order to improve dehumidification performance of traditional air-conditioner system, a new design of a kind of hybrid air-conditioning system with liquid desiccant dehumidifying system was presented in this paper. Through a series of tests in dehumidification performance, regeneration performance and system COP, we can find that the moisture removal of the system can reach 6L/H at most LiCl is the liquid desiccant, and R-22 is the refrigerant. The performance of cooling and dehumidifying is studied at various kinds of the air inlet. Finally the comparison between the hybrid system COP and the traditional one was presented in this paper.
