Summary
A mathematical model based on a single tube of a tube bank as the basic element of heat mass transfer and allowing for the convective heat of flowing water film on the outside tube wall is developed for calculating the theoretical performance of a tube-type indirect evaporative cooler; the solution for this mathematical model with partial differential equations by using a cross-solving fourth-order Runge Kutta method is put forward.
