A method for calculating the vapour-liquid equilibrium of natural gas.

Author(s) : CHEN A., LI H., PENG S.

Summary

In order to predict the thermodynamic properties of natural gas mixture accurately, calculation of the vapour-liquid equilibrium is necessary. On the basis of the fugacity expression of the PR, RKS equation of state, the phase equilibrium characteristic of natural gas in low temperature and high pressure has been calculated. The experimental data and the calculating results have been compared. The phase equilibrium calculation deviation has been analyzed.
