A MINIMAL CONTROLLER SYNTHESIS, ADAPTIVE ALGORITHM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS.

Author(s) : STOTEN D. P.

Summary

THE ARTICLE DESCRIBES AN ADAPTIVE CONTROL ALGORITHM WHICH REQUIRES A MINIMUM CONTROL SYSTEM TO BE IMPLEMENTED. THE RESULTS OF THE SIMULATION OF THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF A ROOM, BY MEANS OF A COOLING SYSTEM USING THIS ALGORITHM, ARE PRESENTED. THESE RESULTS ARE BETTER THAN THOSE CLASSICALLY OBTAINED WITH A CONVENTIONAL CONTROL METHOD. IT IS TO BENOTED THAT THIS ALGORITHM CAN BE APPLIED TO LESS SPECIFIC SYSTEMS SUCH AS ENVIRONMENTAL PROCESSES, INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES, MACHINES, ETC.
