Summary
A new, efficient and environmentally friendly air conditioning plant for passenger cars was designed at the Norwegian Technical Institute in cooperation with the "Hydro Aluminium" firm. The new plant is based on a "transcritical" compression process with carbon dioxide as refrigerant. The new concept offers a comprehensive solution for all environmental problems.
