A NEW METHOD OF AIR HUMIDIFICATION IN COLD CHAMBERS.

Author(s) : DITCHEV S., POPOV V.

Summary

THE MAIN POINT OF THIS METHOD IS THAT AIR IS HUMIDIFIED AT THE EXPENSE OF FROST WHICH IS CONTINUOUSLY DETACHED FROM THE SURFACE OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER OF THE AIR COOLER IN OPERATION. THE MECHANICAL SEPARATION OF FROST IS DONE BECAUSE THE HEAT EXCHANGE SURFACE OF THE AIR COOLER IS IMMERSED IN A DISPERSED DYNAMIC MEDIUM, IE BY USING A FLUIDISED LAYER AIR COOLER. IN THIS CASE HUMIDIFICATION IS OBTAINED WITHOUT USING AN EXTERNAL MOISTURE SOURCE AND THE TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS OF THE COLD ROOM ARE NOT DISTURBED.
