Author(s) : NECKOWICZ T. S.

Summary

A HOT WIRE ANEMOMETER, PLACED IN THE LIQUID LINE OF AN AIR CONDITIONER, IS SHOWN TO GIVE A MEASURE OF THE STATE OF THE REFRIGERANT. IN PARTICULAR, DURING START-UP, THAT PHASE IS NOTED TO CHANGE FROM VAPOR TO LIQUID. THIS TIME FOR FLOODING IS RELATED TO PART OF THE TRANSIENTS NOTED IN THE COOLING BY THE EVAPORATOR.
