CHARACTERISTICS OF COMPRESSOR FOR A ROOM AIR CONDITIONER USING A NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURE OF REFRIGERANTS.

Author(s) : MATSUNAGA H.

Summary

THE NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES HAVE VARIOUS EXCELLENT CHARACTERISTICS THAT THE SINGLE COMPONENT REFRIGERANTS DO NOT POSSESS. HOWEVER, VERY LIMITED INFORMATIONHAS BEEN AVAILABLE. THE AUTHORS HAVE SUCCEEDED IN DEVELOPING A SPLIT-TYPE HEAT PUMP ROOM AIR CONDITIONER EMPLOYING A NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURE, WHICH CAN BE USED EFFECTIVELY, ESPECIALLY IN COLD DISTRICTS. THE COMPRESSOR DEVELOPED IS AN INVERTER-DRIVEN ROLLING PISTON ROTARY COMPRESSOR. THE REPORT PRESENTS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CONDITIONER.
