Summary
Given the current situation of CFCs, successful refrigerant management in existing plants is recommended. This includes refrigerant recovery in approved containers, oil-refrigerant mixture analysis, and close control of system operating conditions, notably leak detection, in order to guarantee refrigerant purity, by specialised companies. The final aspect is record keeping of the operating conditions.
