A summary of fluid properties including near-critical behaviour.
Author(s) : ARP V.
Summary
The wide range thermodynamic equations are inherently inaccurate very close to the critical point itself. The region of inaccuracy around the critical point is described, along with thermodynamic equations which are appropriate for that near-critical region. Users of available computer programs are cautioned to not rely on the calculated results in the near-critical region.
