Summary

A schema of a refrigerating machine working with refrigerants that form a solid phase is considered. As a low-temperature heat exchanger, the working chamber employed is similar to those used in sublimation vessel-type refrigerating units. The results of experimental studies of a carbon-dioxide sublimation vessel-type unit are presented.
