Energy efficient cooling by use of cycloid water vapour compressor.

Summary
The paper describes the construction and the principles of the cycloid water vapour compressor. The theory for calculation of the theoretical compression work is described. Capacity diagrams of the compressor and energy consumption related to traditional cooling plant are presented. The results of the calculations clearly show that there are several areas where a cycloid water vapour compressor has many advantages with respect to energy savings.
