Summary

A HOSPITAL HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM REQUIRES STANDBY BOILERS AND CHILLERS OPERATING ON ALTERNATIVE FUELS. IN THIS CASE WATER VAPOUR FROM A WATER/LITHIUM BROMIDE ABSORPTION CHILLER. SUCH A CHILLER PROVIDES DUAL FUEL STANDBY FOR BOTH HEATING BOILERS AND CENTRIFUGAL CHILLERS, AND MAY EVEN BE ECONOMICAL TO USE FOR BOTH HEATING AND COOLING DUTIES DURING HIGH ELECTRICITY TARIFF PERIODS.
