Summary

In a few instances, the absorption refrigeration cycle and the steam jet ejector refrigeration cycle powered by low grade heat can be used for refrigeration supply. However their COPs are usually low and a modified refrigeration cycle ( the absorption-ejector hybrid cycle presented in the paper) can obtain a higher COP. The proposed cycle consists of two subcycles, a modified absorption cycle and a jet ejector cycle and the performance of the new cycle is relevant to the performance of the modified absorption cycle and the ejector cycle respectively. The modified absorption cycle and the absorption-ejector hybrid cycle have been discussed with the working pair R21-DMF.
