Absorption heat pump for a geothermal heating system.

Absorptionswärmepumpen für geothermische Heizwerke.

Author(s) : SCHARFE J.

Summary

This article provides a review of heat-pump heating applications using ground heat sources in general and geothermal sources in particular (compression, absorption, ejection systems). The cost-effectiveness of 2 types of absorption geothermal heating plant is analyzed; one plant is unprofitable because it is too small, while the other is profitable because it has a larger capacity (20 MW in the network for the 100 MW plant under network conditions of 110 °C in winter and 70 °C in summer).
