Summary

THE REPORT DESCRIBES AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFER AND THE PROPERTIES OF A LITHIUM BROMIDE-CALCIUM CHLORIDE AQUEOUS MIXED SOLUTION, DEVELOPED AS THE ABSORBENT FOR A SINGLE-STAGE ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE. BOTH THE MEASURED VISCOSITIES AND THE CALCULATED HEAT CONDUCTIVITIES INDICATED THAT THE AQUEOUS MIXED SOLUTION OF LITHIUM BROMIDE-CALCIUM CHLORIDE HAD A LOWER FLUIDITY AND HIGHER HEAT CONDUCTIVITY THAN LITHIUM BROMIDE AQUEOUS SOLUTION.
