Summary
Maldistribution of refrigerant and air flow in parallel evaporator circuits results in a decrease of suction pressure and hence in a reduction of system efficiency. A new control strategy of adjusting refrigerant flow through evaporator circuits individually allows for compensating maldistribution effects.
