Advanced system balancing for pure and mixture refrigerants.
Author(s) : COLBOURNE D., SUEN K. O.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
Due to new zeotropic blends and their glide, current methods for refrigeration components rating, data presentation, selection and balancing, are no longer to be used. The object of this paper is to present the reasons why traditional methods are inappropriate, and to propose new methods that account for the behaviour of mixture refrigerants. In addition, the influence of superheat, desuperheat and pressure drop is also incorporated into the new method.
