THE TEST RIG FOR A REFRIGERATING MACHINE IS PRESENTED, THE UNIQUE CHARACTERISTIC OF WHICH IS A DATA ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING UNIT: HIGH ACCURACY PICK-UPS LINKED TO A CENTRAL MEASURING PLANT CONTROLLED BY A MICROCOMPUTER. SUCH A DEVICE PROVIDES QUICKER AND MORE RELIABLE MEASUREMENTS THAN CONVENTIONAL INSTRUMENTATION. SOME EXAMPLES OF RECORDING DURING NORMAL OPERATION OF THE MACHINE AND ITS STEADY OPERATION ARE GIVEN.
