Summary

The positive effects of a well designed and maintained air conditioning system and the consequences of failures are described. A guide, following Uniclima's initiative, provides recommendations concerning plant design and maintenance, for preserving health through good air quality. Finally, a questionnaire to be filled out by employees for their company doctors, has been produced so as to know better the troubles suffered by the occupants and to start a technical and metrological survey of the building. Results of one of these surveys are given.
