Air quality and air-conditioning systems.
[In Portuguese. / En portugais.]
Author(s) : ALEXANDRE C. C. S.
Summary
The article describes the four possible origins of dangerous pollution in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned buildings: internal contamination (volatile compounds, tobacco, cleaning of rugs, etc.); external contamination (CO, CO2, ozone, NO2, etc.); the air-conditioning system itself, and, finally, even the use of air-conditioning, particularly the fraction of air recycled.
