Summary
In recent years occupants in Shanghai air-tight office buildings complainted of poor indoor air quality and some appeared to suffer from sick building syndrome. More and more occupants are now becoming concerned with the quality of indoor air. A research project was conducted in air-tight office buildings. During indoor air environment study, an assessment program was developed. The authors performed their investigation from July to August 1995. The results of the research showed in the Shanghai indoor air quality actual situation in air-tight office buildings.
