Air conditioning by the combination of radiant cooling, displacement ventilation and desiccant cooling.

Author(s) : BUSWEILER U.

Summary

The air conditioning of conference rooms in a hotel in Bremen, Germany, has been done through a combination of cooled ceiling and concurrent air conditioning. Air handling is done without using a refrigeration unit with dehumidification by adsorption, regenerative heat exchange and adiabatic evaporation. The principles of this concept and the results obtained in the first year of operation are presented in the paper.
